Citibank Credit card department,
We disputed charge of $490.00 to Citibank on Merchant " - - - '' for charge date of -/-/16. We mailed Citibank cover letter along with all prior documentation and providing detailed info on why we did not get the service they billed us for. Today we rec 'd letter from Citibank indicating investigation completed and they have no recourse with the merchant for this type of dispute. Citibank said they determined that the service for which we were billed was provided. They att 'd copy of old correspondence and billing from the merchant but gave no acknowledgement that they received any of our dispute correspondence where we gave specifics on not getting the service. I will provide you with all prior correspondence by attachment ( hopefully the prompt for this comes up later ) We have tried to contact Citibank to talk with someone but it is impossible because we do n't have phone # nor a contact person nor will they give me this information, even on the letters they send. I might point out that Citibank took over this dispute from - - as Citibank took over - from costco. We have tried talking with the merchant, - - -, but we can not understand anyone that has called us. Very heavy thick accents. We 're senior citizens and have a very difficult time understanding them. We ca n't even find out if - or Citibank forwarded a copy of our dispute letter to the merchant. We sent the dispute letter to the bank as they were the ones that requested our documentation.
