My insurance company attempted to make payment and requested a Letter of Guarantee for the title, but was told Regional Accepatnce 's insurance department is short staffed, so it would take between 4 - 6 weeks to draft the letter ( which at most, takes 3 - 5 business days ). I called and was told my loan would still be accruing interest and payments due while waiting for them to send the letter for a vehicle deemed a total loss. I was told I would have to make a payment extension, then told my - insurance would not cover any time I had a payment extension, and that interest would still accrue ( daily ) during this time period. They are not the same company I have - with and it is not in my - contract.. I am now paying for my rental vehicle since it has been over 30 days, due to them stating they have an issue with staffing in the insurance department.
