Penn Credit Corporation Debt collection department,

I do not know Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Pennsylvania

Penn Credit Corporation continually called our home trying to collect a debt we did not owe with a false account number and amount owed. The woman on the phone demanded a credit card to pay off the amount due immediately. I refused to give information over the phone and asked for the creditor and account number for the amount due. I then called the City of - revenue borough to make sure that I did not owe money. Penn Credit had given a false account number and tried to collect over $4000.00 not owed the city of -. I can only assume this is a scam!
