Cashing a check without an account Deposits and withdrawals Indiana

Upon receiving an insurance check, my husband at the time took the check to a Chase bank where I have never had an account. He opened an account, forged my signature, and left with the money. I have spoke with the bank where the check was cashed and they admitted fault. I would like to request a new check issued and funds disbursed according to our divorce agreement.
