We are requesting a federal investigation of BancorpSouth Bank in Mississippi. - - and - - - purchased a home, financed by BancorpSouth in -, MS -/-/- and were informed during the closing that they were purchasing mortgage protection also. When the application was received in the mail -/-/-, - - completed this application and submitted it to Bancorp South because BancorpSouth 's name was listed on the application. This application was taken to Bancorp South. Although, BancorpSouth now states that this is not their application, - and - - never received notice from BancorpSouth that this was not BancorpSouth 's application after he returned it to them in person. - - passed away in - -, and his wife and daughter, - - and - -, contacted the bank, who financed the mortgage and mortgage protection. The bank claims that the application is not their application, although they accepted it from - - in -/-/-.
