BB&T Financial Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Virginia
I have a home improvement loan with this company since - -, 2015 and this is a interest free loan for 18 months. This was approved by - -. I am suppose to pay BB & T $250.00 per month for 18 months. This amount is suppose to be applied to my principal. After 18 months I pay the remaining balance. I have been paying $250.00 for the last one year. BB & T has been sending me statements stating that only $9.00 go towards the principal and the rest $190.00 goes towards the interest.
This is the way the statements are printed. On - - I spoke with the manager ( - - ) and she promised that she will investigate it and call me back. It has been a month and I have not received any response yet. I had notified the sales rep from the contracting company ( - - ) who had offered me financing through BB & T home improvement. I had notified the accounts payable manager and told her that the consumer should have a clear statement of what the client has paid and what they owe at the end of the term. This is unacceptable. The contractor was notified that they should not use this company anymore in order to sell their product.
