On -/-/2014 we went to Home depot and purchased granite for our counters. I made payments on this account monthly with no problem no late payments and I was paying this on the home depot website. As a year came around we received a call from the store clerk that they wanted for us to come in so they could give us our money back and cancel the order. I was ok with that because we have been really busy this past year and was not able to get the kitchen rebuilt. When we went to the store - of the customer service attendants put the money we had paid to the loan back on our bank card. then a few weeks later I received a call from this company called green sky. they said I was late on my payment I was n't sure who they were and they explained they were the ones funding the loan for home depot. I said I was not aware of payment due. They then called home depot and returned to me and said every thing was good If I had any questions call home depot. I checked the web site later and there was no balance. I never heard from anyone again. In - I tried to refinance and found that green sky had placed a derogatory statement on my credit reports and stated that I missed payments. they stated that there was a balance due because home depot should have paid them instead of me and they would return to me what was due me. I paid the balance they requested immediately. They said they would remove this from my credit report and they did not. My credit score dropped about - points I did nothing. Home depot was the one that caused this I had nothing to do with it. I tried to talk to green sky but they refuse to do anything.
