So in - I was in Florida on Vacation while someone used a fake debit card to withdraw $800.00 from - ATMs. - which was a US Bank ATM. I contacted US Bank as soon as I saw this the Monday that I was back. From there they conducted an investigation that took until -/-/- to tell me that I was denied. When I called them a lady who has never seen me in person handling my case told me that I was verified on film. So I gathered my plane ticket, as well as credit card statements proving that I was in Florida and not Nevada at the time of the incident and went to my local branch so that if their was video they could see it was n't me and I had documentation to show it could n't have been me. That was in -/-/- where I asked them to reopen my case. From there I called about every other day with no response from my case processor until - -, 2016. She told me that it is on film and to contact metro if I had a further dispute. So I contacted metro, and filed a
people had been arrested. I do n't think it is fair that I am out $800.00, which is significant to a -, when they were provided documentation that it could n't have been me. They also drug it out so that I could n't get help from the police either. I thought they would be investigating that they allowed someone to take out my money that I entrusted to them, from their ATM, using a fake card. At this point I feel that it is their responsibility to correct the problem and go after whoever they have on film that they allowed to take my money.
