In early - 2016, I sold a - - handbag through eBay to - -. The handbag was listed with photos and a description from - - and was final sale. - - requested a refund through eBay on -/-/16 - a full 17-days after the bag was delivered - stating that it was defective and " missing pieces '' because it did not have a magnetic clasp. The photos in the listing show that the bag has a zippered clasp, not magnetic ; as such, I explained that the item is not defective. I requested for eBay to intervene - they have a 30-day money back guarantee for buyers if an item is not as described - and they closed the case in my favor. On -/-/16, PayPal contacted me stating that - - had opened another claim, again alleging that the item was " damaged or defective '' and/or " not as described. '' For a second time, I uploaded the information supplied to eBay to PayPal. On -/-/16, PayPal closed the case, ruling that I did not follow their seller policy for protection. - - has retained the handbag and I was assessed the original purchase price of $390.00 plus a fee for the dispute of approximately $30.00.
