I secured a bar study loan in - through - aka -, with - as the third party lender. I subsequently had my payments deferred, until I ran out of time, but I went through a period of unemployment and undermeployment so I was unable to pay. First, I was told to pay - - -, and I did begin making payments. Then I was told to pay - - -, but I did not. Finally, I was contacted by - and I made arrangements to pay them and have been paying them since -. Last year, I was alerted that negative information was added to my credit report. When I checked, I saw that - - - listed themselves as a collection agency on a debt I owed. I reached out to - and they were able to conduct and investigation and remove the information from my credit report.
only help me if I could get a copy of the original loan documents from -. Then, they also reported this debt to the credit bureaus as seriously delinquent, however, - did not remove this from my report. When - reached out to - to get documentation on the loan, - was unable to process the request because, they claimed, that - is currently involved in litigation regarding its loan practices. When I reach out to - myself, the telephone numbers were not in service ; I mailed them and received no response. ERS would not provide me with any contact information so that I might try to reach - another way. I subsequently emailed Enterprise and attached scanned copies of multiple emails from - - regarding my loan from its origination where - is listed as the third party lender financing this loan, subsequent emails showing who I was supposed to pay, and payments made. I received no response. I have paid the loan down so far that my balance is just under $1000.00. Some payments were submitted to - - - ( but I have no credit on my account for them ) but majority have been submitted to -. At this time, all I have to support my claim is emails from - and -. I requested an itemized statement from -. Please help me as I have no other recourse!
