Great American Finance Company is horrible to say the least I have never missed a payment when I open the account and made all my payments up to date. I went online and made my payments always. In - - I notice the company report a 30 day late when I was not late, I called them to discuss the issue and they stated that its because I had not full paid my total due in - -, I then explained the issues and also stated that I was never informed that I had a late payment in - -, in which GAFCO stated that it was a late fee that just kept on adding up. I explained that was very deceptive and misleading and sent several letters to the Manager and still no response not even a call back. I spoke with a Customer Service Representative who stated that she would look into the matter and correct the late payment. GAFCO never corrected the late payment then in error they placed another late payment for the month of - - in which again I called to dispute the matter and even stated that how could I be late when


a " charge off " for the last 6 months, which puts a negative hit on my CRA just to lower my scores. Great American Finance Company has continued to the FDCPA 807. False or misleading representations. As they continue to violated federal law, by not False and misleading information provided to the credit bureaus with proper notice within the required timeframe, and I have evidence of such, via certified mail receipts, you must now remove the item. Any other action ( or in-action ) on your behalf will result in a small claims action against your company. I will be seeking $5000.00 in damages for the following : 1. ) Defamation 2. ) Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3. ) Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act
