Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay California
CarMax auto finance has taken advantage of our family, gave us a high interest rate, we have paid over 4 years now and tried to work a settlement offer and refinance for a lower payment and they will not cooperate whatsoever. We are having financial hardships, my husband has been on - leave and I am a - - - that works only 9.25 months a year. We have tried to contact the company with a reasonable settlement to deliver the car as a voluntary repo with a settlement paid status so they do not come for the balance since the car has been paid in full from the price sold, they can still sell it and make more money off the interest. We have spoken to over - customer service representatives and - managers and have had no luck in getting any type of arrangement made in writing. They will not work with us at all and are very unhelpful. We feel they have discriminated against us because we are minority with this high interest rate and we have paid and made payment arrangements in good faith. They are unwilling to help our family in need we have - children and my husband still remains on -. We feel the offer was fair and given our circumstances and true inability to pay any longer and our family is now in a desperate situation requesting the company 's assistance to come to an amicable arrangement. We know it can be done and has been done.
