On -/-/2016 I contacted Equifax because the verification information they provide to IRS was incorrect. I needed to request my IRS tax transcripts and it asks me to verify my telephone number. I learned through the phone call and pulling my credit report that Equifax has/had no phone contact information listed for me. They also had no employment history even though I have worked for the last 17 years. I was able to provide an update for my employment history, but not my phone contact. Please note upon pulling my report during the call using the Equifax website, - and - have all of my current information. I was informed by several representatives that in order for phone/contact information to be added I had to contact my creditors and they would have to correct the information. I asked which creditors could up date this because it appeared that of my - or so creditors, none of them reported anything about me in the last 17 years.The rep stated that all of them could. I asked for equifax 's contact number so that the creditors who could do this I could provide them with contact information ; I was informed that


informed me that they report the same information across all credit bureaus every 30 days which includes my employment history and contact information. Each creditor stated that do n't call the credit bureaus directly, that everything is done through the system. They each verified that my phone number, address and employment was up to date and was submitted to Equifax as late as -/-/2016 in one instance. - - made an exception and resubmitted to Equifax -/-/16. I called Equifax back with - - on the phone and was informed informed that there are no alternatives. I asked if there was someone there with technical expertise because it seems impossible that no one submitted any information to the credit bureau. I asked if maybe there was something that is not getting loaded properly, and I also asked for a supervisor at that point the representative hung up the phone. I also attempted to dispute names that I never used and was n't able to do that as well.
