I finance my vehicle with CNAC in - - and have made my monthly payments on time, as reflected on my credit reports, since Day one. Starting in or around - -, my account representative was changed over to - -. Since the time he received my account, he began calling me days prior to my due date asking if I was going to make my payment. even after I confirmed that my payment would be made on the due date, he continued calling repeatedly asking the same question until the date of the payment. There would be days where he would call me multiple times and leave multiple messages. In - and -, - - made hard inquiries on my credit reports without my consent. He continued harassing me all through - -. In -, he sent another employee to my residence demanding payment or he would have my vehicle towed. when I refused to pay him, he proceed to act as if he was calling the tow truck. I then called CNAC directly where


My account was transferred over to - with CNAC in - and that was fine until today. - called me and left me a message regarding my promise to pay today ( which was fine ), but then - - called me and left me a message as well, following up on his harassment. when I called back in to make the payment, - answered and I requested to speak with someone else, he refused and stated that there was no one else to speak with. he then began being very rude to me and asking why I had a problem with him. when I advised that he was in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, he stated that I was just making excuses for my payments being late and started being very derogatory. He refused to transfer my call so I bid him farewell and called back and made my payment with another employee. - has been in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and has continued harassing me amidst my requests for him to stop.
