Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Arizona
On -/-/16 I sent a letter to Bonneville Collections requesting validation for an entry on my credit report. I 've attached several supporting documents as well as the letter I sent them. According to the USPS tracking number, they signed for my letter on -/-/16. I then waited 4 weeks from that date hoping to hear from them, which I did not. After the 4 weeks I filed a dispute with - and -, fully outlining everything that has taken place and including copies documents that I sent Bonneville. The - bureaus started a dispute on my behalf. During the time my - credit reports of both bureaus described above where updated by Bonneville. They never validated the debt, and during this time that they are supposed to be doing such, they made changes to my reports. According to the FDCPA act they are to suspend collection activities until validation as been supplied. Furthermore, upon looking into this company, they are NOT licensed or bonded in my state to be operating as a collection agency. You can view the - code in my letter. So not only are they violating FDCPA laws, but they are also violating state law.
