Improper contact or sharing of info contacted employer after asked not to
National Principal Group, LLC Debt collection department,
I do not know Improper contact or sharing of info Contacted employer after asked not to Maine
I, my friends, my family, and my employer have all received multiple phone calls from an agency, purportedly to collect a debt. When describing the ways in which these collectors have violated the FDCPA, I had - or - different options from which to choose. These people have refused to verify any debt. They have refused to disclose from what agency they are calling. They have called my employer repeatedly, after the human resources manager hung up on them, in an attempt to block the line. They have called my employer threatening to serve me with papers, and asking how they can contact me. They have used false court filing numbers ( such as case numbers, etc ), as though a debt had been litigated already. They have used generally abusive language, have been harassing, and have used false telephone numbers, spoofing the number of my local court house, to convince me that they were calling from a governmental agency. In their latest attempt to contact me, they inadvertantly left a name of their agency which I could then research online. I have since submitted a complaint in writing to them, requesting they cease all telephonic communications with me. If they violate this request, I have informed them I will take further legal action.
