Direct Recovery Services, LLC Debt collection department,
I do not know Improper contact or sharing of info Contacted me after I asked not to Florida
I received a call from Direct Recovery Services. They asked for my social security number and would not tell me what the debt was they were calling about. I do not give this information over the phone. I called back 3 times and without my social security number being verified. I am awaiting verification from them in my e-mail. They were unaware of the original claim and the particulars of what it was for. From my best information, it seems to be a debt about mental counseling, which never happened. I was living at a homeless shelter at the time of their supposed inquiry. I was under - County Health District and never received - - - so this is a totally bogus attempt to rip off the government. Cease and desist would be in order and anyone trying to defraud the government should be rigorously prosecuted. Thank you.
