Bank of America Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Arizona
In 2007 I took out an equity loan with Bank of America for $25.00, -. The original documents for the loan have been misplaced and after 9 years I inquired on the loan because it had been so long and figured I was almost done paying the loan off. I am a senior and currently on - so I live on a very limited income. When I inquired on the loan I was informed that the loan would not be paid off until the year - and it is my belief that I am being scammed. I was informed by the agent that out of my monthly payments only cents are going towards the principle of the loan. I asked for copies of all documentation to be sent to me because I wanted to see how much I have paid and how much has gone to the principle. I was not sent the information. I was sent what looks like an agreement that has my signature on a back page that is not attached to the agreement. I will not be alive in - and this loan will continue to exist. I believe Bank of America purposely preys on senior citizens and I do not believe I have not paid anything towards this loan in the last 9 years.
