Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Trouble with how payments are handled Texas

upon investigating the issue with - -, I discovered that the loan was brought by FED loan servicing around that time frame and was advised by the representative not to make a payment because they were buying the loan at that time. well now FED loans is giving me a hard time about getting this information which could clear this issue on my credit report. I need them to get me that information.
