Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Unsolicited issuance of credit card Michigan
I have had repeated problems with PayPal, which has twice now issued me their credit cards without my knowledge or consent ( including a - one now after having directed them to cancel a prior one ). They then link their unwanted credit card to my PayPal account, and make it the primary means of payment. Generally I am able to avoid using their card by switching the payment to my " real '' ( - ) credit card, but I need to remember to click on my - credit card each time I make a purchase, and occasionally I forget. The amount I owe on the card is modest ( less than $50.00 ) but I find this business practice to be deceptive and if it is n't illegal it certainly should be. ( They basically are tricking consumers into using a credit card that the consumer never asked for or agree to have ). I would appreciate you looking into this on my behalf and on the behalf of all consumers. Thanks, -
