I was browsing local lenders on - and - websites to find a local mortgage lender. I noticed there are several mortgage loan officers at our local Homebridge Financial Services branch that are not advertising their license number. Before I apply anywhere for a home loan, I 'd like to research and review their employment history to see how knowledgeable they are. The last time I gave my personal information for a home loan, I had a bad experience so I am very cautious. It 's my understanding that each loan officer is required to display their license number. I even noticed that one of their co-workers with a higher title is n't advertising his license number, either. I 'm concerned that this company is n't operating legally.
