Checking account Account opening, closing, or management
PNC Bank N.A. Bank account or service department,
Checking account Account opening, closing, or management Pennsylvania
On Thursday, - -, 2016, for unexplained and unnecessary reasons, an employee, -, placed my online banking access on hold. I had just visited the branch on Saturday, - -, presented my ID, received a new debit card, made a cash deposit, and received starter checks. When I called into online banking on - -, I was told to go to a branch to prove my identity yet again, and I would regain my access. When I got there, the representatives were unsure why I did n't have access, but I was told I would receive a call later confirming my access was restored - I did not. I called into online banking again on - -, asked for manager and again was told I would receive a call back and did not. I went back to the branch - - and again the representatives were unsure why I did n't have access, again I was told I would receive a call later confirming my access was restored - and again I did not. When I called into online banking later that day, I was told, snottily, to be patient. It is now been an entire week since the access was revoked ( to a VIRTUAL account ), without reason, and apparently the only person in the entire bank who knows how to get the hold removed is -, and no one is interested in helping to resolve the situation. I just opened this account three weeks, already hugely regretting it.
