By my mistake I made an online bill payment ( Through PNC Bank ) paying one bill in lieu of another. I attempted to place a block or stop payment online while the funds were still " pending '' status but the online system told me to contact customer service to continue. I placed a call to PNC Customer Service whom advised although my account online said the money was " pending '' the money was in fact out of my account and with the company.
