Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay New Mexico

I have been going through financial hardship and was placed on a hardship payment program with this loan company. I call them periodically to let them know where I am but have not been able to make a payment for quite some time, working on alternative solutions at this time. Last month they call my ex-husband, not sure where they got his number, looking for me. I called them and told them they were not to call him again and not to call anyone else except me. They called him again this month and are violating my privacy rights in doing so. Unfortunately I ca n't pay what I do n't have even if I would like to but trying to do something soon. They have not reached out to me in writing, should n't that be an alternative rather than violating my privacy?
