I have disputed an account showing on my credit report with Equifax from - - - - in the amount of $8100.00. I have send - - - - - letters requesting the contractual agreement with me and their company for that loan. - on - occasion asked me to send them a copy of the credit report that is reporting this information in which I did. Each time I request the contract information they never able to send it. I then dispute this Item with Equifax letting them know that I have no knowledge of this account with - -. Equifax somehow able to verify that this account belongs to me. when I call Equifax I was told that I have to provide proof that I try to reach out to - - asking for the contract and payment information or else I can not dispute this item again.I then send a copy of all the letters sent to - - - - along with the mail receipt showing that I did try to get them to respond to my request. All information that was send to Equifax was via online Equifax.com/disputes. Again Equifax say that this account is verified by the creditor. Since neither Equifax nor the creditor are unable to provide me with the information that I requested I need Equifax to remove this item from my credit report. This account is showing that charge off, collection and sold to another company unsecured. Please remove this account from my credit report.
