I recently just got my first auto loan from my lender Santander and when trying to make a payment I noticed that there is a convenience fee of - using either my bank account or a credit/debit card. It seems the only way I can avoid such a fee is by mailing a payment in or setting up automatic bill pay which I am not able to do because of my payment schedule. I also live in the state of Florida in which I believe such fees are illegal as per statue -
