I called Banco Popular on -/-/- to make the payment for -/-/-, which was due on - - but I usually like to pay earlier. When I did, they told me I owe for -/-/-. I said, " No I do n't '' and they said " Yes you do. '' I said, " Is this going to be back like the past? I 'm going to call the bank and ask them to show you proof that I paid in -/-/-. I paid on - - and Banco Popular withdrew it on - -. '' I got the statement and faxed it to them, and they said they did n't get the fax, although I had received a verification receipt. I said, " So you 're lying '' and he asked me to send it to him again. I sent another one right then. When he got it, I called and he says to me, " Yes, I 'm looking at it but we 're not going to accept it. We want your whole statement because we want to see how much money you have in your account. '' I said, " No, I 'm sorry, that 's my personal business. '' I called the Attorney General 's Office and they told me that I was right to do what I did and they can not force me to send them the documents like that. I am in collections for payments I am making.
