Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease New Jersey

Last night I responded at the website address listed on the prescreen letter, that is, OneMainFinancial.com/applynow, and filled out the application. This morning I received a phone call from a representative from the local OneMain branch, phone number -. I answered all of the question including whether I had ever filed for bankruptcy. The gentleman than informed me that my full credit report was required to be pulled and that it was not a big deal because my credit report has been already accessed. The gentleman insisted that I was not pre-qualified just because the letter says that I was prescreened. The gentleman than stated that I could not be pre-qualified unless my full credit report is accessed. I reiterated the fact that under the FCRA a prescreened offer must be a firm offer and that I should have already been deemed to have met the OneMain creditworthiness criteria. He then transferred me to the branch manager, - -, who informed me that my credit report was not
The district manager informed me to call the local branch again and restart the application process. I contacted - - and she informed me thew district manager would be contacting me. I was not contacted by the district manager so I called the number in my caller id. The district manager was not available but the gentleman that answered the phone conveyed a message from the district manager to the effect that I was denied credit because I said that I had a bankruptcy in -/-/-. This ordeal constitutes harassment because I was led to believe that I was prescreend thus pre-qualified for the $6000.00 loan. I do not know at this point t if OneMain pulled my full credit report or who performed the prescreening with an unknown credit bureau.
