Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay
Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Texas
I had a loan for my car with Santander. I stopped making payments -/-/2011, the car was repossessed -/-/2011 the car was then auctioned off and the payment was applied. The remaining amount owed was $1400.00. I never got a letter stating the amount owed. I was verbally informed over the phone after multiple calls early in the morning and late at night. I was able to pay the remaining balance. However, on their end it is not showing as paid. They sold the loan twice to different debt companies, none of which called me to inform me of the " debt ''. Now I am being sued for the $1400.00 from a debt collector. My credit report is showing inaccurate information as well. The only payment history it shows when -/-/2011 when my last payment was made and -/-/- when the car was repossessed, then it is showing when their payment from the auctioned was applied. I had my loan with them for 4 years prior to this. None of that payment history is on there. I believe this is a violation of FCRA.
