DriveTime Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease Texas
I purchased a - GMC Envoy on -/-/- from Drivetime. Repairs started immediately on the vehicle, the first repair was approx a week after purchase. Some receipts we were not given because it was within the 30 day warranty and they would not give us receipts for the work that was done by their preferred mechanic - -. The dates of all the repairs made by - are as follows,-/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/-.And our portion was $100.00 each time these repairs were made. And we also had the lift system replaced due to a busted air bag -/-/- for $420.00, and I paid $470.00 on -/-/- for repairs to - - because - was unable to complete the repairs that he started. We are advised by the shop that replaced the lift system that the vehicle looked like it had been under water underneath the truck. Well my husband attempted to change the brakes on Sunday -/-/-. He was unable to get the brakes off due to the bolts were rusted on to the truck. The brakes and rotors are COMPLETLY rusted and the brake shield which is steel falls off into
over $ -! We have photos and video of the rust on the wheel and brake issue. NOW they are telling me they do n't replace unless the cost of - repair has to total the value. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. I WAS SOLD A LEMON THAT HAS BEEN UNDER WATER! And now I was told to take the truck to - again to look at the rust and brake issue. Now I am being told they will not cover the repair. I knew this would be the issue and I do n't want it repaired I want them see the rust and disintegrating steel and put me in another vehicle. Now it has cost me $50.00 for nothing other than them to tell me they do n't cover the repairs. Well I knew this! And the vehicle is still not running properly, it seems that the transmission is going out. And of course we are being told take it to -, LOL ... ... I was SOLD A LEMON AND THEY KNOW THIS!
