Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay South Carolina

I have had a loan with Security Finance for over 2 years now. I have faithfully paid and renew my loan multiple times. One day I called to see if I was renewable and was told by - that I was renewable for over $200.00. I told him i would be in on my lunch break to renew that loan. When i got there, - told me once i renew my payments would go up $20.00. We signed the papers and i got the money. One day I was not able to make a payment on time, so i decided to ask for my principal and remaining balance. - informed me that my balance was over $1500.00 for a $1000.00 loan, and I asked how it was that high because i had made previous payments before calling. He then decided to inform me that back in - when he told me I was renewable for over $200.00 that my loan was actually increased and not renewed. I then informed them through SEVERAL letters that I would not be paying that loan because I came in on the assumption of renewing my loan and not increasing because I could not afford


do not feel like I am responsible for that. They should have informed me. They call me several times and day and they call my job as well. The last person that called my job from there was - and he had the nasty attitude with me and wanted to know why i had an attitude because i sure didnt have one when i came to get the money. I then informed him that I had an attitude because they failed to inform me that they were increasing my loan and had me come in on a renewal assumption. I however am still not paying them whatsoever with this loan and they have ran my credit score to -. Is there anything other than not paying them that I can do about this situation?
