I opened an account with Synchrony Bank for an - - - in - of 2015. I made my first purchase on - -, 2015, with my first scheduled payment due - -, 2015 for $25.00. On - -, 2015 I made my first payment of $30.00 to Synchrony. I have paid every month this way on the - of each month with the payment being due each -. Instead of being given credit for early payments, the bank considers me 'late ' each month and assesses me a late fee of $35.00. I called about it and was told that my - payment does not count, but instead would be applied as a double payment for - 2015. I am considered late although I paid on time, even early. Synchrony refuses to budge.
