On that date, Citibank claimed that I owed them $300.00 for automatic payments, which the bank has never paid. I therefore paid Citibank $300.00 for the line of credit and $2.00 interest from my - - checking account ( ending - ) on - -, -, and confirmed with the bank 's representative that I owed nothing else. Nevertheless, Citibank continues to claim that I owe them more than $100.00, which, the bank claims, has been accruing interest since - -, -. On - -, -, I received another letter from Citibank regarding the phantom debt and called their toll-free number. I spoke to a woman named - ( ID # - ) who told me, " [ Citibank ] has no record of your debt. '' I requested Citibank to immediately resolve the dispute in my favor and was given Citibank complain No. -. -
