Mitchell Rubenstein and Associates has only - person answering phone calls and returning messages. It took more than a week for me to finally get to speak to a human being and I had to call 6 times in a row in order to finally get a human. I received notice on Thursday -/-/- that they had placed a garnishment freezing all of my accounts and my family 's accounts at my employer and financial institution. I began calling immediately and could not get a human - just an answering machine. I left several messages and received - message back on Weds -/-/- at -. Today -/-/- I called six times in a row in effort to finally get someone to talk to. Her excuse was she was the only one answering the calls and that they were a little short staffed. Here I am trying to pay a bill and ca n't because they 've made it impossible to pay them unless I want to offer my frozen checking account information to them via internet or phone system. Being a victim of recent identity theft through the IRS I did not feel comfortable in sharing that information without speaking to a human being. They should find more people to handle their business or perhaps not handle as much business until proper service can be provided. Worse yet I could n't pay them unless I borrowed money from someone and pay them back when my funds were released at my financial institution. If I issued a ACH debit through their system it would be returned due to the freeze they put on the accounts. " A catch 22 '' as the agent at Mitchell Rubenstein stated.
