Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Michigan

I have attempted to contact CitiBank 's CitiGold Division on several occasions to disable " Overdraft Protection '', I was repeatably told by a supervisor this was " not possible ''. Frankly, this does not make any sense since other banks have the ability to turn off Overdraft Protection thus preventing any Overdraft Fees from occurring. During the Holiday Season ( - and - - 's ), various transactions settled on strange dates for whatever reason. Additionally, CitiBank charges a $34.00 Returned Check Fee which is in violation of State Law. The maximum amount in Illinois and Michigan is $25.00.
