The big - Credit Agencies have no authorization from me to collect, store, and sell my financial information, nor evidence of written authorization of the same. This issue applies to me just as it applies to all people living within the United States. Credit information is no different from a personal work profile. The example is -. But, at least LinkedIn participation is a matter of choice. There is a master agreement to participate with - -. But, there is no such agreement with Experian, -, or -. Credit reporting is a forced participation, and its existence and easy access allows for identity theft related crimes to occur. Worse, as an unwilling participant, I am forced to pay a fee to have that information locked.
