Wells Fargo Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease California
On -/-/-, I made an arrangement to make two payments for my vehicle, A - Toyota Tacoma. My account is up to date. On -/-/- the Wells Fargo Collection Department called me and said that my account was behind because I had supposedly missed a payment -/-/-. They made me pay the over due amount with interest as well. Meanwhile, I had asked two times if i could get the payment history on the loan I had recieved to pay for the truck. However, i did n't receive the payment history until 8 months later. As I went through the payment history I noticed that one of the payments that I made in -/-/- was n't showing on the account. I called the Wells Fargo Department of Collections to fix the mistake and they asked if I had proof. I sent them the receipt of the two payments, and the copy of the checks that i had written to the department. -, an employee for the collection department, said that the payment was lost and sent me to the Wells Fargo Bank to ask them what happened to this payment. They said that i need to call the Collection Department
account that I was sharing with my son. I said that I wanted a refund for my money and for it to be taken off my credit because they posted it 30 days later on -/-/- and -/-/- and it was false information. - said that she could n't because even if they refunded the money to my account, my son 's account will be behind and it was n't possible to do so. I then asked - to show me the payment history of the loan my son was supposedly behind on his account. I talked to my son about his loan, he said that he was n't behind on payments and showed me a bank statement to prove that he had payed -/-/-. Me and my son could not prove anything until the department gave us the payment history of my sons account. The department began to start calling me asking for a payment, but I refused because I was not behind. I also asked for my money back, but because of the ongoing investigation they wanted me to continue making payments. I had told them that i was n't going to make a payment because i had already paid for the month of -/-/- and they never refunded me anything. Afterward i reviewed my credit and i noticed that they posted five 30 day late payments on my report -/-/- through -/-/-. I called - again and asked her to remove this from my credit record, but she said that she could n't. She advised me to called her manager, so I called her today. She was in a very bad mood we did not agree on anything. She did not want to remove the bad report from my credit, and transfered me to her manager. He said the same thing, that they were not going to remove anything from my credit because if they did they were going to put it on my sons credit report. I told them that I was going to make a complaint to their bank but they did not care.
