Title loan Charged fees or interest I didn't expect Kansas

I was in debt for about $20000.00 in -/-/-. I did not know what to do so I went HFC a loan company to borrow this amount of money to pay off the debt. -, the HFC employee stated that I could the money as long as I gave HFC my car title. I gave HFC my car title and I received the money to pay off my debt ; however I have been on this loan for over 8 years. I have not missed any payments until -/-/-. This debt amount has grown to $25000.00 instead of going down. This amount should have been off within 5 years or less. I believe I have scammed and I would like help to cancel this debt since I have paid more on it than the amount that I borrowed. Thank you.
