This letter is a complaint about PayPal 's Seller Protection and Chargeback Fees. I am posting this so others can learn about PayPal 's wrongdoing. Regarding case ID : -, PayPal states I did not follow " Seller Protection performance requirements. '' However, I strongly followed PayPal 's Seller Protection requirements, in addition to eBay 's Seller Protection. I had sent proof of tracking #, eBay message confirming receipt of payment to the buyer along with their game code, buyer leaving positive feedback, and proof from - that the code was redeemed. It is evident that the buyer was a scammer. PayPal still initiated a chargeback of $34.00 USD plus an additional $20.00 USD chargeback fee. There was no Seller Protection offered to me, to protect me against a scammer. This was not the only chargeback against me, as many of my eBay products were targeted by scammers - many of whom are no longer registered on eBay. This is not right and is false advertising by both eBay and PayPal for stating sellers are " protected '' by their Seller Protection. In a separate matter, I paid $2.00 ( ID : - ) for an eBay USPS shipping, however, the buyer also turned out to be a scammer who is now unregistered on eBay. I never used or shipped out the package. PayPal has yet to refund me on this purchase.
