Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Texas

I 've made - payments on my car of - and my principle balance is not going down. I 'm financing my vehicle with Santander Consumer USA but I can refinance or trade out of it because of the negative equity. I do not know what to do. I feel like I 'm paying for a car but not paying for a car.
