When I expressed that I could n't afford monthly payments, they offered defferement for $100.00. When the agreed date for the payment passed, they claimed they did not recieve the payment. I now owe $100.00 plus the $ - monthly payment to be allowed defferment again. I can not afford to pay this. Speaking on the phone again, they threatened to take the loan to their collections agency. They resorted to using scare tactics in telling me they dont know how I 'll get more loans for school once they report me. They expressed they did not care if it threatened my future academic career. They are unwilling to work with me so I can continue my education. The original loan amount from Sallie Mae was -. With interest, it is exceeding -.
