- 2012 we charged The Home Depot card for kitchen redo. Set up auto payments from account that had more than enough money to pay off total amount ( account not used for anything else ). Went fine for a few months, then got notice of late payment. Money all still in acct, THD/CBNA did not pull the - payment, showed us as 30 days late - we argued it was their fault, not ours. They agreed to fix on credit report. We talk to them numerous times a year and they claim they fixed it back in 2012. Credit bureaus have no record of anything from THD/CBNA stating it should read - late payments. We are sick and tired of calling credit bureau, calling THD/CBNA back and forth for 3 1/2 years and it still not corrected. Credit bureau says has never gotten word from THD/CBNA to correct, THD/CBNA says they have sent it numerous times since 2012. PLEASE HELP! We have perfect credit except for this false information. We have also asked THD/CBNA to send us copies of the letters they send to credit bureaus - we have been told " we do n't send letters to customer '' to " we have sent to you each time ''. We have NEVER received ANY communication about correcting this false report. They ( credit bureau AND THD/CBNA ) have asked us to send letters describing problem, and we have - numerous times- with still no luck.
