Although I am aware that they are not a bank, Paypal has frozen my account and are saying that they are holding my funds for 180 days do to a high risk of fraud. I have filed complaints with the - and the - for a civil liberties violation as well. Paypal should not be allowed to play with people 's money this way. All of my customers are completely happy and I have had zero complaints. They are claiming to hold my money because they need to protect themselves from chargebacks or disputes but again, I have documentation that all of my customers are completely happy with their purchases. Paypal may not be a bank but they operate as - yet use the " we are not a bank '' excuse to hold practices that are not only unfair but may also be illegal. Paypal needs to be investigated for its lies and deception to its consumers. They are holding over $1600.00 in this account that is money I earned and should be able to withdraw. Unacceptable.
