JPMorgan Chase Bank account or service department,
Checking account Deposits and withdrawals Arizona
I have once again fallen victim to corporate greed in this country. As a college student I feel very vulnerable to banking institutions tactics to create overdraft fees among many low income citizens. The impact of such irresponsible behavior by this institutions spreads in every aspect of my daily life in the most pervasive manner. I struggle to meet ends meet and being in a university, as it is widely known does not come cheap. Every dollar counts and I intend to make every hard earned dollar go towards my education. Not to make banks richer nor become a source of unjustifiable profit. I have no trouble paying my bank the fair fees for the fair usage of their services. Unfortunately overdraft fees do not fall into that category, especially when they are created by corporate tactics with the specific purpose of creating such fees by manipulating timezones limits on deposits. I always get paid after - MST which is a reasonable time to get paid by every standard. I just see no reason whatsoever why banks can not accept deposit made before - - to be processed as a same day transactions. There is no logical conclusion in this time and age when information is available instantaneously, other than authority to impose such restrictions in order to gain profit from a certain portion of the population that work during the night shifts. We have to create awareness that it should be up to us, the consumers and not some financial institutions that " are too big to fail '', to determine our economic future ; by the sweat of our labor and our conviction to pursuit financial growth that will help us reach economic freedom. I am very frustrated citizen and I am looking for alternative ways to manage my money.
