According to my attorney, this account is past the Statute of Limitations and also past the reporting period for accounts to be reported on a persons credit report. They first sent out a letter via fax to inform them of what my attorneys stance was on - - -. On - - - I checked my credit report and the - - account still remains on my credit report. On - - -, my attorney 's office called - - to follow up on the letter that they had sent. - - stated that they will continue to report it to the Credit Bureaus because the time started when the account was charged off in - and not when I made my last payment in - of -.
