This complaint crosses over several issues : Communication tactics AND Threatening to take an illegal action : ( 1 ) this company threatened to take legal action without properly notifying us that such an action was in motion. They state that they would then " mail a copy '' of a judgment without notification that suit has been entered into court. They expressly state their intention to deny us our due process rights while providing misleading statements in the introduction that they are actually advising us of our rights pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. ( 2 ) they have made frequent and repeated calls Improper contact and sharing of information ( 1 ) they have left personal information on an answering machine that was audible to a room of individuals, including our children, disclosing the possibility that we may have debt. The message states that they are about to divulge sensitive information so if the individuals listening are not " they provide our names here '' to hang up and then they proceed to divulge that personal information with no guarantee that the party on the other end is actually " they provide our names here, '' and in fact, in several instances they were not. We have numerous recordings and sworn evidence of this. Further, - - - - - - is a Trust and has not established an individual of ownership nor any other named individual of ownership, we have not acknowledged this debt as legitimate. This company has caused irreparable harm to our children, family and several friends having disclosed this sensitive information via recorded calls, leaving personally identifiable information and our names
