JPMorgan Chase Bank account or service department,
Checking account Using a debit or ATM card Florida
I conducted a $950.00 cash advance at a local - Bank using my Chase Debit Card. I looked at my account and saw a fee for $28.00. I called Chase '' - telephone banking to inquiry and I was told that is the fee for doing a cash advance. My response to this info was I can understand if I was in another country conducting this transaction but for me to get charged that fee in my hometown domestically is ludicrous. I went on to asked who can I speak to to have this fee refunded, waived or removed the telephone banking rep told me " no one '' I asked to speak with a supervisor and - continued to deflect and not get a manager on the phone. Evenutally I was put on hold and upon his return he advised me that he spoke with a supervisor and he has been given the govahead to waived the fee but he was - the account so that no other fees will be refunded. My compaint is this is extremely absorbant. The maximum someone can take from an ATM is $500.00 per day. To be charged a 3 % regardless if it is disclosed in a brochure issued years ago when the account was open is mind blowing. I can understand a $5.00 or something but 3 % that is criminal and unethical.
