I purchased a vehicle from -. Byrider/CNAC Finanace about a year ago. Nine months into the loan, I had a major problem with the vehicle and it was determined that the entire engine had to be replaced. This car had previously been a flood vehicle ( which was never disclosed to me upon purchase ). I returned the car to them and informed them that I no longer want it. The remaining balance of the loan has become a major point of dispute. Since I have explained to them that they will not be receiving any further payments from me, they have harassed myself and my family ( whose numbers they have from my references when I originally purchased the vehicle ) to the extent of upwards 12 calls a day without leaving a message. My biggest problem that I just realized is that they have also been checking my credit score every month for the last three months for the sole purpose to only damage my credit with multiple inquiries. They have absolutely no reason to need to run my credit. I need the harassment to stop.
