I have a deferred transfer balance which is due - 2016, with no interest due until expiration of the deferral period. Howver, Chase is charfing me interest on new purchases, even though I pay those charges by the due date. They say that carrying a deferred transfer balance causes interest to be due on new purchases until the deferred balance is paid off, even though it is not due until -.
