PayPal Credit card department,
Transaction issue New Hampshire
I use PayPal to pay for purchases I make on EBay. My PayPal account is set to default to my linked bank account, and has been set this way for years. Today, I noticed that my default had been changed by PayPal without my knowledge or authorization to go through PayPal credit, which I neither requested nor wanted as there was plenty of money in my bank account. Now PayPal is making it difficult for me to pay my bill, as the payments are still " pending '' and there is no way to pay online. I am afraid that I will be forced to incur high interest and default fees for credit charges I did not request and which were not authorized by making it impossible for me to pay my bill promptly ( as they have a policy of putting you in a " credit loop '' which allows them to hold your payments until after they are due. ) I see many other people online complaining about the same unfair and deceptive practice. This needs to be investigated. As soon as I am finally able to pay my bill, I will be closing this unwanted PayPal credit account - hopefully, that will be an end of the matter.
